Fascinating Science Workshops for All

Mike Culley - Science Horizons
I am a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, and have loved science since my early school days. I gained a degree in physics with astronomy, and have been fortunate to travel around the world to observe the beauty of the night skies, and also to see two total solar eclipses (Australia 2002 and Libya 2006).
As one of the most experienced live planetarium presenters in the UK, I have had the great pleasure of developing and delivering science and astronomy shows, talks and workshops for over 25 years. In that time, I have given thousands of planetarium shows, sharing my knowledge and love of science and the night sky with children and adults - something that is uniquely rewarding.

I am also a qualified Chartered Psychologist specialising in applied psychology. I coach individuals for work and personal development, and undertake applied psychology work to develop resilience and stress management for many groups including teachers. I develop and run organisational training workshops for organisations across the UK.
I also run a range of special public workshops for adults to explore exciting psychology and physics topics.
My aim is to make the truly amazing world of science accessible to everyone of any age, and have run workshops for all ages on a range of topics from my first science love, space, through sound, holography and much more...
